I am a second-year student of the Bachelor of Education Degree in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia. Before I began my teacher education, I was in the Faculty of Science studying Mathematics and then the Faculty of Engineering studying Computer Science at the University of Victoria. I have always attended university with the intent of becoming a teacher, and I am honoured to now be doing so.
My primary teaching interests include Math and Technology education for youth, literacy education for younger students, and culinary and health education for all. I believe school should be a place where kids are allowed to be kids, while still always developing skills and ideas that will benefit them at present and in the future. My own personal interests are centred around music and the arts, Mathematics, puzzles, and games, and world history and language.
